The inventor
From Hong Kong to the Jeweller’s Bench
Born and raised in Hong Kong, Eugenia Chan trained as a registered nurse and midwife, then ran a die-casting factory making replacement parts for the Ford Model A and T. After moving to Vancouver in 1976 she co-founded a pool and spa company, the first in Canada to manufacture insulated spa covers, and went on to a long career in real estate before retiring in 2009.
Today she designs one-of-a-kind jewelry and invents the tools to make it.
Paintings
From Jewelry making to painting.
